HCUC is a merger between Harrow College and Uxbridge College.
Based within our newly created School of Technical Apprenticeships, we are seeking to appoint a Course Team Leader to co-ordinate and develop the curriculum on a range of programmes in Construction, to lead and co-ordinate our Work Based Learning provision for Electrical Installation and Plumbing. The role will involve teaching across a range of courses, both practical and theory-based, primarily in Electrical Installation. You will liaise with employers and assessors to ensure employer needs are met and ensure effective delivery and timely progress, ensuring learners meet framework achievement targets.
You will be possess a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation, an assessor qualification and an advanced level teaching qualification (DET or equivalent). You should have a minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience in Electrical Installation together with good understanding of best practice in teaching and learning, and some experience of curriculum co-ordination.
