We are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor on a fixed-term basis initially for the 2020/21 academic year to supervise whole classes during the absence of a class teacher. The post is term time only, 8:25am to 2:25pm. This is an opportunity for a confident, flexible, well-organised person to join our supportive teaching team.
You will ideally have had some experience of working with young people, preferably in an educational setting. Duties will include supervising students while they complete set work in the absence of the teacher and actively supporting their progress. The successful candidate will be educated to at least grade A*-C GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent). A degree or equivalent qualification would be desirable. This role would ideally suit a graduate who is seeking some experience in working with young people in schools as a foundation for future teacher training applications.
