The Beacon School requires a well-organised, self-motivated person who enjoys the prospect of working with young people and teachers as a Cover Supervisor.
The successful candidate will support the smooth operation of the school by delivering lessons to full class groups, based on pre-prepared work, as well as manage the classroom environment to promote good behaviour for learning, and liaise with teaching colleagues on their return to school to promote good continuity for students.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Adaptability, resilience and the ability to think on your feet are essential in this varied and evolving role, as will an ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
A good command of English and Mathematics are necessities (at GCSE level or above), as are strong ICT skills.

Salary FTE: £22,500 - £26,122 p.a.
Salary pro rata: £19,356 - £22,473 p.a.
Hours of work: 36 hours per week (Monday to Friday), across 39 weeks per year
Contract: Part-time and term time only
