Curriculum Leader – Supported Learning
To commence August 2019
£42,069 per annum and 35 Hours per week
The College of North West London is a constituent college of the United Colleges Group (UCG), which was formed by the merger of CNWL with City of Westminster College.
UCG is based at the heart of the education sector in London. With both Colleges within the group having received a Good rating in their most recent Ofsted inspections, and with a combined turnover of c£50m, the Group has both the ambition and strength to create a lasting difference in the local communities it serves, and beyond.
As a member of the faculty management team, you will act as line manager for the ESOL curricular team ensuring a positive learning experience through effective leadership of curriculum delivery and quality assurance processes.
The successful candidate will have considerable successful experience in teaching supported Learning educated to degree level in a relevant discipline with a recognised teaching qualification(PGCE or equivalent).
You will also be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of current issues, policies and strategies relating to Supported Learning and Further Education.
With a proven record in learning and teaching, curriculum development and delivery, you will ensure that quality processes are embedded in course design, delivery and evaluation.
You will work with a high degree of autonomy you will have effective time management skills and excellent interpersonal and networking skills are essential.
As a curriculum leader you will have a teaching commitment of 15 hours per week, and therefore applicants must also have the skills, knowledge and experience to teach within the curriculum provision of the Faculty.
