About the role:
You will be responsible to the Head of School for Enterprise and will have a Management role that ensures the effective development and delivery of the Business curriculum. You will line manage academic and non-academic staff to continually develop the curriculum area to ensure that our expectations of standards and quality are high.
The monitoring of performance by recruitment, attendance, retention and achievements for our learners is essential and making sure our students receive the highest levels of satisfaction in their experience with the College is crucial. You will be expected to undertake teaching and learning activities, on average 15 hours per week unless agreed otherwise.
You will have appropriate experience and qualifications reflecting a strong knowledge of the Business sector and may have a Line Management qualification, although not essential, the commitment to undertake one during the first term of contract would be desirable.
You will have a history of teaching, within a Business vocational context and it will be evident that you set high standards in attainment and achievement You must have the ability to communicate with students and staff to motivate and support them in their studies or work.

Our work based assessment projects are designed with the full involvement of local and major City employers that enables the awarding body criteria to meet their needs whilst also setting high attainment for our students.
