In February 2019, Lambeth 'The Careers College' joined the London South Bank University (LSBU) 'family' of education institutions in a pioneering move designed to enhance Lambeth College's offer and create greater access to education for all across South London.
In 2021, the College will be opening its newly renovated flagship site in Vauxhall where the Construction curriculum will be based and will contribute to the site becoming a centre of excellence.
The Faculty of Science, Built Environment & Manufacturing are seeking to appoint a Curriculum Manager in Construction to drive forward our success and expand the delivery to meet the needs of the locality.
The role of this post is to plan, organise, co-ordinate programmes and line manage staff in line with the college's strategic priorities and to deliver an excellent learner experience.
The successful candidate must have experience of planning and developing curriculum programmes within their subject discipline, with good communication and organisational skills. Teaching experience is also required, together with evidence of continuous professional development.
We would welcome applications from candidates with a broad base of experience from a Construction industry background.
A degree, or equivalent professional qualification, is required for this post, as well as a recognised teaching qualification (Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS) or equivalent) with Level 5 subject specialism. A Literacy/English, ICT and a Numeracy/Maths qualification at Level 2 are also required. Industry based experience is also a valuable asset.
