Ashfold School is seeking to appoint a Deputy Head to join us in September 2021 or January 2022. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to display their passion and enthusiasm for prep schools and to use their experience to contribute to the ongoing development of this exceptional school.

The successful candidate will be passionate about prep schools and be committed to all areas of school life. They will possess outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with excellent organisational and administrative abilities. Their discretion, honesty and integrity will be crucial and they will be able to lead by example, committed to maintaining the ethos of Ashfold for the staff and children.
This is an exciting time to be part of Ashfold School and to play a vital role towards ensuring that every child who attends Ashfold has the chance to thrive and flourish in the classroom and beyond.
Ashfold is an established co-educational Preparatory School for around 280 children aged 3 - 13+ set in a beautiful Jacobean mansion with its own thirty-acre estate in the heart of the Buckinghamshire countryside just twenty minutes from Oxford, Thame and Aylesbury.
The school has expanded significantly over the last fifteen years and invested heavily in its infrastructure and support systems. We aim to give every child the firmest possible grounding in the core academic subjects, within a small caring family community where children both know each other and all of the staff.
