Governors seek an inspirational and dynamic Deputy Head to join us in September 2021 or earlier. The successful appointee will work as part of a highly motivated and experienced team to take the school forward and drive rapid improvement. They will have a particular focus on Nursery to Year 6, whilst also having school wide responsibilities, which will be determined by the experience of the successful candidate.
This role will provide excellent preparation for future Headship and would ideally suit an experienced senior leader looking to gain experience in a 3-16 setting before taking their next step.
Porth Community School needs an experienced senior leader who is confident in leading any aspect of school life, has a broad and positive experience of leadership in a variety of school environments and holds a firm belief that every young person deserves the very best education.
You will be an outstanding practitioner, with excellent leadership skills. You will possess the confidence and capacity to support both the Headteacher and Senior Deputy Headteacher to build on the tremendous potential for improvement that exists within the school with a positive attitude that will engage staff, pupils and the wider community.
If our challenges excite you, we look forward to hearing from you.
