Sherwood Park School is an all age (3-19) Foundation Special School for pupils with Severe/ Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties and /or disabilities (SLD/PMLD), as well as pupils who are on the Autistic spectrum (ASD) with complex needs. The school is unique, and comprises of the Sherwood Park and Sherwood Hill campuses to meet the highly individualised needs of each of the learners

We are looking for a Deputy Headteacher who can drive the up the quality of education we provide through excellent teaching and learning and a curriculum that enables our pupils who have profound / severe and / or autism to achieve the very best outcomes possible and to become active citizens.
We will expect you to support strategic school improvement, planning and school self-evaluation and to make a significant contribution to high quality organisation, leadership and management.
You will have excellent communication skills, a proven track record of senior leadership experience including responsibility for staff management and significant recent experience of working with children with SLD, PMLD and ASD.
We are a newly established senior leadership team, who have enormous ambition for our pupils and we are looking for a senior leader to join our team to play a full and active role in supporting and promoting every aspect of the life in our school.
