St Mary’s CE VC Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking, trustworthy and committed Deputy Head Teacher who must also lead on Inclusion and form part of our Vulnerable Pupils Team. The Deputy Head Teacher will be a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leader.
The successful candidate will be an exemplary class teacher with a proven track record in school improvement. We also seek candidates who are in sympathy with the Christian Ethos of our Church of England school and will make a significant positive contribution to the Church Ethos of our school. We currently have 132 pupils on roll. There would be a class teaching commitment as part of this full time post which is currently for 3 days per week in Key Stage 1 although that is subject to an annual review of the development needs of the school.
We are part of the Wharfe Valley Learning Partnership a group of local primary schools and as such we are connected to a strong network who are all committed to work with our partners to raise levels of educational attainment, enjoyment and achievement.
