We are seeking to appoint an organised Design Technology Technician to work part time in our busy Design Department. We are looking for someone who has a positive ‘can do ‘attitude to provide technical knowledge and assistance to the teaching staff within the department.
20 hours a week term time
Monday to Fridays 8.30am – 12.30pm
The main purpose of the job is to ensure that departments machinery and equipment are maintained to the required standard and that resources are prepared and set up to support the daily teaching. There will be opportunites for the Design Technician to support the classroom teacher in lessons.
Our ideal candidate will:
• Have a qualification in art / design
• Have experience of using design technology machinery and software
• Have the ability to maintain accurate work records and maintain inventories
