The DT Technician will contribute significantly to the smooth running of the department. This will include practical workshop tasks and the organisation of Food practical lessons. Tasks will range from the preparation of lessons, support of teachers, the maintenance of equipment and the ordering of supplies.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate suitable experience and/or qualifications in a Technician’s role. They should possess a range of skills working with workshop equipment and machinery and be confident in the maintenance and safe operation. They will need to be efficient, organised and a good communicator, to cope with a demanding environment, and have an ability to prioritise work effectively.
