We are seeking an individual who is a proven outstanding teacher and has a track record of using latest digital technology to improve teaching and learning. The individual will be up to date and current with the latest technology and has the ability to horizon scan and seek new methods and ways of working. The Digital Innovation and Engagement Manager will play a key role in leading on and implementing change according to the Digital Strategy, as well as delivering an outstanding service to staff, students and stakeholders of the College.
The post holder will lead on the development, implementation and continual improvement of digital learning, blended learning and new technologies in order to deliver a high quality provision that has a measurable impact on teaching, learning and assessment.
You will be expected to direct the development and implementation of the VLE, including other learner management systems such as MyDay, ProMonitor and Proportal, as well as introducing innovative methods to support learning through the latest teaching and learning technology. You will be a proactive member of the team and manage the responsibility of providing a service that meets the needs of students and staff across the College (in liaison with IT Services, curriculum areas, Learning Resource Centres and Student Services and external partnerships).
