Newham College is the license holder for the London City Institute of Technology that opens in September 2022. This opens significant opportunities for employer engagement, commercial CPD and higher-level apprenticeships in the fields of engineering, the built environment, transport, infrastructure and energy.
To apply for this role, you must have experience within the vocational training sector at a senior leadership level and have been successfully involved in external audits, for example an Ofsted inspection and a recent ESFA or GLA compliance audit. Experience of leading bids, Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education, Register of the Apprenticeship Training Provider application process, Digital Apprenticeship Service and a good understanding of Finance / MIS systems aligned to apprenticeship management and delivery is essential for this role.
Having experience of working in the public funding sector, you will critically understand and be knowledgeable of quality, funding compliance and financial assurance regulations alongside having developed and implemented rigorous systems and processes that support the management and delivery of viable, high quality learning programmes.
Ideally, you will come from within the Further / Higher Education sectors or have extensive experience of Apprenticeship delivery focused provision within an Independent Training Provider. The successful candidate will be an exceptional professional, who works collaboratively with all colleagues, students and stakeholders, promoting teamwork and professionalism in all that they do. By working in this way and fully utilising all resources available, you will support the development, planning, delivery and monitoring of a highly effective curriculum.
