Head of Operations & Finance
This role is to engage and lead the departments of finance, HR, IT and estates whilst proving strategic, financial, business planning and acquisition of funding for a brand new department.
This role will suit an energetic, innovative leader who will be accountable for the delivery of high quality and responsive support for various department. Someone with significant experience of leading teams is crucial. A proven ability to manage change, including taking the lead on significant organisational change projects, and responding positively to new challenges.
This role requires someone with the expertise to provide continued improvement of the departments financial performance in the face of changes to the funding environment which lie ahead. Strengthen income generation and cost recovery whilst also maintaining strong control expenditure.
Act as a trusted advisor to the Head of Department and senior management team. Line manage the administration team leaders with overall responsibility for the performance of those teams. Provide visible leadership for professional development.
Oversee the preparation and implementation of detailed financial and business plans.
