About the role:
The role has team members based at both campuses so regular attendance at each campus is required and suitable office accommodation is available at both sites.
The role reports to the Deputy Principal Finance & Resources and forms part of the Resources team which also includes Finance, Estates, IT, Health and Safety and Procurement.
The role manages a number of direct reports that lead the various elements of the MIS and Exams functions
The College has an agile working arrangement in place and subject to operational needs, it is expected that a minimum of 60% of the working week will be at one of the College sites and for this role in particular that a presence at each site is regularly maintained.
What we are looking for in our role:
A confident and personable individual with high expectations and an attention to detail who has experience in leading an MIS function in a Post 16 environment and inspires team members to perform to a good level, builds positive relationships with stakeholders and colleagues and participates in driving excellence within the organisation.
A good knowledge of funding rules and compliance in a post 16 educational environment, an understanding of curriculum planning with excellent analytical skills, good numeracy and a desire for efficiency and effectiveness.
Applicants should be educated to degree level or equivalent with a minimum of GCSE or equivalent in English and mathematics.

Interviews will be held at the Cambridge campus and will take the form of a short presentation by candidates, a short written exercise, a formal interview and a meet-the-team session.
