Are you looking for the next step in your career? Do you have a passion for History and changing
Falcon Education Academies Trust are seeking to appoint a dedicated and highly skilled Director of History to join our team from April 2021, or sooner if possible. You will be responsible for working with a number of heads of departments across two or three different academies and supporting History academies in partner trusts.
At this key time in the Trust’s development, we require an ambitious, determined and personable
leader to secure the highest possible outcomes for our young people, staff, families, schools and the wider community. Through strong leadership and the ability to motivate others, you will harness the key strengths of colleagues, and lead rapid and sustained improvement in History departments.
This post would be an ideal opportunity for an outstanding Head of Department or Advanced Skills
Teacher to maintain close links with classroom practice whilst leading group-wide transformational change. Experience of leading rapid and sustainable improvement in a History department is essential.
