Director of Studies: Sixth Form Academy
To provide strategic leadership and management for the Sixth Form Academy, ensuring that it delivers outstanding provision and achievement for all students. To line manage the Sixth Form Academy management team, the Academy staff, the Head of School for Foundation Adult and Community Learning and to deputise for the Assistant Principals as required.
Rate of pay: Management Scale, Point 11, £54,132 per annum.
Hours of Work: 37 hours per week (including occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends).
Contract: Full time, permanent.
Location: NPTC Group of Colleges, initially based at Neath College.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate should have a qualification and/or experience in management in addition to a relevant level 6 qualification (e.g. degree or equivalent). Experience of planning and managing curriculum issues within an Academic School, managing staff and experience within a FE environment is essential.
