OPEN SKY INTERNATIONAL EGYPT IS LOOKING FOR ENGLISH-SPEAKING PRE-SCHOOL TEACHERS
Open Sky International's first school in Egypt will open for pupils in September 2021, and will be situated in Cairo. It will be one of the first international branches opened by OSI, an ambitious and innovative new schools’ group based in Paris, and other OSI schools will be opening in various locations in Morocco, Egypt and internationally over the next five years. We intend to very quickly become one of the best schools in Egypt and our aspirations for our pupils will be high.
The school’s curriculum is broad and incorporates the best aspects of a range of international systems. In the pre-school (or the maternelle as it is called in French) children follow a programme which is very similar in ethos to the UK Early Years curriculum, and from the primary, all pupils follow a bilingual timetable, taking half of their classes in French and the remainder in English. Arabic will also be an important part of the curriculum. During its first year, the school will welcome pupils from the ages of 2 to 11 years old, and will serve children from both the Egyptian and expatriate communities in Cairo and we plan to open our first secondary cohort in 2022.
Who are we looking for?

- Bilingual English-French with a knowledge of Arabic
- Keen to develop their own professional expertise
- Able to support and promote the school’s values
- Keen to experience new cultures and ideas, and open to the challenges that living and working internationally will bring
