You’ll need to be fully qualified, or willing to work towards a qualification, and enjoy helping our youngest children to learn, by; getting messy; singing; dancing; reading and bringing stories to life and exploring outside whatever the weather. As you'd expect, you'll need to work well in a team and be passionate about delivering fantastic outcomes for young children. Knowledge of the EYFS is important, alongside the creativity and confidence to develop exciting learning experiences for our amazing little ones.
We currently have full time 40 hrs (4 days per week), part time 30 hrs (3 days per week) at Lakehouse and Stationhouse Nurseries in Portishead. All shifts are 10 hours long to provide continuity for our children and great handovers for parents. Unfortunately, school hours/term time only vacancies are not available.

We have fabulous locations in Portishead, both on the Lakegrounds and right by the Marina, so its a fabulous environment for adults too. It's also only a 20 min drive from Clifton. There's free on street parking, and great spaces for you and the children to explore right on the door step. We are also a Forest School, so if you like building dens, creating rope swings and generally being outdoors then this is the role for you.

Whilst we would prefer a level 3 in childcare, this is not a requirement as we are able to provide training, however you must have achieved a level 4 or Grade C or above in English and Maths.
