Early Years 1:1 Support Worker. Nursery (Abbey Park Campus). Part Time (15 Hours). Term Time Only (30 weeks). Temporary post until July 2020.
We are looking to recruit a temporary Early Years 1:1 Support Worker to work in the Nursery at Abbey Park Campus. To provide 1:1 support for 2 children with additional needs (both children attend on different days). You must have a good understanding of how to provide enabling support to children with additional needs. You will work closely with other nursery staff and professionals in planning for the individual child and recording development updates in the child’s learning journal. You will also provide an appropriate level of structure and balance to the child’s day whilst carrying out one to one support.
You will have an NVQ Level 3 in childcare or equivalent, and recent experience of working in an early years setting. You will hold a minimum Level 2 in maths and English (GCSE Grade c or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above or equivalent).
