Salary/Grade: 3-8 Soulsbury Scale depending on experience (FTE £40,146 - £49,175, Actual Salary £30,432 - £37,277)

This role is an exciting opportunity for an educational psychologist, who is a research and evidence based practitioner, to work within the Langley Academy Trust. The successful candidate will offer a high level of knowledge and skills in assessment and intervention with young people with mental health needs, drawing flexibly on a range of models, theories and approaches in their work.
The successful candidate will provide robust, reflective, informed and high quality educational psychology support. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work at an individual, group and whole academy level, for our children and young people in primary and secondary education across the Trust.
The successful candidate will also:
• deliver consultation advice and training on a range of issues including resilience and mental toughness, mental health and emotional wellbeing, parenting, anti-bullying, parental engagement, peer interventions, positive behaviour management and behaviour for learning initiatives through the application of psychology
• Support the Trust in developing its inclusive approaches and capacity to meet the needs of vulnerable children with behaviour and SEMH needs
• work creatively, flexibly and strategically to meet the needs of stakeholders in partnership with a range of providers and agencies
