The Athelstan Trust is looking to recruit a passionate and experienced Educational Psychologist to work across all our schools.
We are looking for a dedicated individual to support students who have a range of emotional and social issues or learning difficulties. You’ll apply psychological theory and research to promote emotional and social wellbeing. You will offer a unique perspective on ways to help young people develop their skills and learn.
The Educational Psychologist for the Athelstan Trust will work closely with the CEO, Central Executive Team and school SENDCos to help deliver the Athelstan Trust’s strategic objectives. The postholder will be required to travel between all schools within the Athelstan Trust.
The successful candidate will:
• have post-graduate professional qualification in Educational Psychology
• have sound knowledge of evidence-based interventions
• be an excellent practitioner with good communication, interpersonal, organisation and time management skills
• be able to demonstrate resilience, motivation and commitment to improving outcomes for young people
• have Health and Care Professions Council registration
