Due to unprecedented growth in student numbers with Education, Health & Care Plans (EHCPs), we are looking to expand our team. The successful candidate will support young people offering direct and indirect interventions and advice to assist with their transition, retention and success within college.
The role will include family/advocate liaison and preparing, chairing and reporting on annual EHCP Reviews. Working collaboratively with lecturers, support staff and external parties, you will ensure that we provide the best possible service to our students, whilst fulfilling our policy, statutory and contractual obligations.
To apply for the position you must have previous experience of working with students with Special Educational needs, alongside GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade A-C or equivalent). Attention to detail, alongside excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
