Emotional Literacy Co-ordinator
Salary: Grade 8, Point 18 - 23: £19,089 -£21,197 pro-rata (£25,419 – £28,226 FTE)
Contract: Term time only + 3 Inset Days
Term: One year (in the first instance)
Hours: 32.5 per week, 8.00am -3.30 pm Monday to Friday
Starting date: 1st September 2022
Reporting to: Assistant Headteacher : SENDCO & Interventions
We are looking to appoint an experienced Emotional Literacy Coordinator to work alongside our SENCo and SEND Manager to support children with SEND. The role involves working within the school’s “Learning Zone” and is a key post centered around supporting children to understand and regulate their own emotions, whilst also respecting the feelings of those around them. It would be beneficial to be ELSA / Zones of Regulation trained and have experience of working with children with SEND.
