We are looking for a full time dynamic, organised and positive person to join our GAP work experience team, with a proven track record demonstrating your experience in some form of sales or recruitment background.
You will join a trailblazing team responsible for providing a personalised service offering a wide range of advice, guidance and support for learners seeking to broaden their employability and core skills; either through work experience, industry placements, apprenticeships or supported internships.
The role requires a proactive, enthusiastic and diligent individual who can establish supportive working relationships with staff, students, external agencies and stakeholders; including community partners, employers and charities. You need to be a confident communicator with excellent listening skills to ensure you fully understand the needs,
abilities and career aspirations of individual students who are looking to enter the world of work.
The successful candidate will have outstanding negotiation skills, drive and passion; able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment; accountable for meeting targets individually and as part of a team.
You will be required to attend College Introductory Meetings, open days, employability fairs and marketing events on a regular basis.
You will help students identify and participate in valuable work experience opportunities, study skills and employability workshops, which enable them to progress. Innovative thinking with an eye for detail and exceptional IT skills are vital in this role.
This is a fixed term maternity cover position for one year, based in our Luton Campuses starting in February 2022. This role may also require regular travel to our Watford and Hemel Campuses.
