We are looking for 4 x Employ Me Caseworkers to work within the Lifestyles & Work Employ Me team. Employ Me is Mencap’s model for supported employment.
We are really excited to be recruiting Caseworkers to support delivery of a fantastic new programme for young people in London.
The Employ Me the Employ Me Greater London Authority (GLA) European Social Fund (ESF) programme in London programme aims to support NEET (Not in Education, Employment, Training) SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities) young people who have learning difficulties, disabilities and autism to access sustained employment, education and training.

You will work with young people individually and in groups (online and face to face) to agree and develop plans and activities which will support their journey to paid employment.
This role will have particular responsibility for ensuring recruitment and achievement of high quality outcomes for young people that meet the requirements set out be GLA and ESF.
You will need the ability to work on your own initiative. Good interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills as well as the ability to work effectively with young participants, employers, educational professionals and parents/carers is essential. The ability to maintain high quality and accurate, up to date records using IT based systems is also required.

All candidates offered an interview for this role will need to provide evidence of their GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) at interview. Please have your certificates ready to be emailed across if you are contacted for an interview.
There are 4 full time (37.5 hours per week) posts available on a contract basis until April 2023.
