We are looking for a passionate and motivated Employ Me Caseworker to join our Employ Me programme within our Lifestyles and Work team.
You will support delivery of the City Bridge employment project in London. The City Bridge Employ Me programme offers a wide range of benefits, helping people with learning disabilities:

Have a better understanding of employment
Show employers what they can do
Progress towards paid work, voluntary work or further education
You will directly supporting young people up to the age of 30 who have learning disabilities and difficulties. You will be responsible for working collaboratively with, and generating referrals from, educational providers, Job Centre Plus and support agencies.
You will work as part of a team alongside Job Coaches and Co Trainers to deliver the project.
You will work with people individually and in groups (online and face to face) to agree and develop plans and activities which will take them closer to paid employment.
You will need the ability to work on your own initiative, good interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills. The ability to work effectively with participants, employers, educational professionals and parents/carers is essential. The ability to maintain accurate and up to date records using IT based systems is also required.
These is a full time maternity cover post (37.5 hours a week) contracted until end of May 22.
