Interim Coordinator for English

The successful candidate will be educated to degree or A level in English, or equivalent, have a minimum of grade C in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent), hold or be willing to work towards and achieve, a Diploma in Teaching and Learning (Certificate in Education) or equivalent, along with commitment to, and evidence of, CPD. To hold Assessor / Verifier Qualifications would also be an advantage but not essential.
Duties of this role include lecturing and training of English students and other client groups to quality standards set by the College, managing groups, timetables and working with MIS and Exams to ensure accuracy. We are also looking for someone with the ability to successfully lead teams to increase results, attendance, and the quality of teaching, learning and assessment and be a link for staffing concerns. Another key area for this role is managing testing (diagnostics) exam entries and ensuring performance data is entered on Markbook.
