We are currently seeking a dynamic, self-motivated and experienced English specialist to work as part of the College's dedicated English and Maths team.
The successful candidates will be involved in delivering, developing and preparing Functional Skills and English GCSE.
Ideally, you will have considerable experience of teaching English with the ability to be creative and adaptable in your approaches to delivery to support the learning of students at varying levels.
In addition to teaching, your role will involve both individual and team support to vocational staff that will need assistance with embedding English into their vocational courses.
You will be required to support with the development of a digital curriculum and innovating the teaching practices for students at a variety of levels. This includes contributing to the quality process by providing evidence of outstanding and innovative teaching practice and individual learning plans, which complement the blended learning delivery model.
This is a full time position working 37 hours per week starting in August 2021 and will require working across the West Herts College group campuses. This position is for a fixed term basis for maternity cover.
