The school is looking for an examinations invigilator to join the current team of invigilators and support the school in conducting public and mock examinations. Examinations must be done under strict conditions according to awarding body regulations and internal policies and the role is essential in ensuring the school is being compliant with these. This is a recurring, seasonal role from May to June (public examinations), but the invigilator might also be required to work during mock exams (January/February) and other days throughout the year for external exams.
Applicants must have excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail and a flexible approach to work. A positive ‘can-do’ attitude, confidence, and the ability to work with students and staff are crucial. Reliability and punctuality are essential qualities to succeed in this role. Anyone with experience of invigilation in a school, college or university environment would be highly desirable.
