We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and pro-active individual into the post of Examinations/GDPR Officer.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a large examinations team in one of Wales’ top performing colleges.
The role will involve working within a faculty team of officers, with the wider exams team and also the wider college to provide an excellent examinations service to the college and its learners.
This post is advertised as a fixed term role with the following hours:
Day Working Hours
Monday 08:30 – 16:30 (Usk)
Wednesday 08:30 – 16:30 (Usk)
Thursday 08:30 – 16:30 (Newport)
Friday 08.30-16.00 (Usk)
The post will be predominantly in our Usk campus (3 days a week) working within the Enterprise and Academic Studies Faculty team. The fourth day will be spent in our central office on our Newport Campus. However, travel to our other campuses to assist the wider team is an essential part of the role.
You will deal with staff and students at the campus on a daily basis and help provide an excellent service to them. You will join your fellow faculty officers once a week in the central office (based in our Newport campus) for training and support.
Excellent administrative and IT skills are required and experience in the use of software packages, including Microsoft Word, Excel and databases and computerised information systems are essential.
The ability to work flexibly, as part of a team and under pressure are essential for this post.
