We are seeking to appoint an individual to be responsible for the running of our student examinations to include entries, amendments, seating plans, managing a team of invigilators and the results provision.
The administration of our exams process is a key role within the school. Ideally you will have previous office management experience, however, training on the exams element of the job will be given to the successful candidate who can demonstrate they have:
• Methodical attention to detail
• Proficient IT systems user
• Excellent scheduling skills, time management and working to deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
• Motivated to provide a quality service
• A positive ‘can do’ attitude
Previous experience in a similar role
Continuous training will be given to further enhance your development within the school.
Hours of work: Term time / Monday to Friday start and finish times to fall between the hours of 8.00am and 4.00pm
Working Hours: *25 weekly average hours over the academic year plus two days for results in late August - Term time / Monday to Friday start and finish times to fall between the hours of 8.00am and 4.00pm
Salary Details: LG Band 6, Scale Points 15 - 18
Actual salary: £15,870 - £17,916 based on experience
Start date: September/early October 2019
*The postholder is required to work an average of 25 hours per week over the academic year. Flexibility will be required and just prior to the exam season and during the exam season (late April, May and June) you may be required to work up to 37 hours a week. Please note, we will review the working pattern at the end of the first year.
