EYFS Reception Teacher
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of building a cohesive EYFS phase, as we are looking for a Reception teacher to work alongside our experienced Early Years Nursery teacher from September. A great opportunity awaits the successful candidate as you will be able to join our growing school and to help shape the vision and journey for our EYFS children for years to come.
From September 2021, the appointed candidate will work closely with our Nursery teacher to ensure that our Early Years – with a brand new, shared, outside area – provides our children with the best possible start at St. Catherine’s.
We are looking for a Reception teacher who understands early learning, has a love for teaching, believes strongly in engaging every pupil in a way that makes learning fascinating, and who would relish becoming part of a supportive, committed, friendly teaching team. If this is you: Welcome to St Catherine’s!
In this full-time role, you will deliver inspiring lessons with patience, resourcefulness and high expectations of both learning and behaviour. You will be joining a team of committed staff who make sure that every child feels valued and is provided with a curriculum that is stimulating, creative and child centred.
Applications are welcome from teachers who are practicing Catholics or from non-Catholics who support the Christian ethos of our school. This is initially a fixed-term one-year contract with the possibility of being made permanent in the future.
Although Covid-19 protocols must be followed, visits to the school are warmly welcomed and encouraged. Please telephone the office to make an appointment.
The closing date is: 9am on Monday 26th April 2021. Applications will be reviewed on submission to the school.
