Hours: 37 per week/52.14 weeks per year
Salary scale: £20,092 - £21,748 (Grade E Points 7 - 11)

We are seeking to appoint a hard-working, enthusiastic and reliable Facilities Assistant. Working under the direction of the Facilities Manager to ensure that the school’s buildings, site, and furnishings are safe, secure, and maintained to Health and Safety standards as defined by the Academy and Health & Safety legislation.
No formal qualifications required but some experience and knowledge would be an advantage.
This is a varied role and we are looking for someone who:
● is reliable and able to work as part of a supportive team
● has a calm and friendly approach
● has basic DIY skills
● is aware of Health & Safety issues
● has the physical ability to carry out manual handling tasks ie, lifting and moving items
● enjoys the challenge of a busy and varied role
