Finance Advisor - Accounts Payable
Contract Details: 0.8 or Full Time (Flexible Working will be considered)
FTE Salary: £19,359 - £24,912 pa
Start Date: March 2020
New College are looking to recruit a new Finance Advisor, specialising in the field of Accounts Payable. You will be part of a small and very busy Finance team, focused on the prompt payment of our creditors, as well as, all associated tasks that accompany the role.
We would expect you to have a current working knowledge of Microsoft Office along with a working knowledge of computerised accounting procedures in order to carry out the duties of the role without supervision.
You should have experience of financial procedures, budgets and controls, cash handling, petty cash and creditors ledgers. We would expect you to be able to demonstrate that you an work under pressure to strict timescales.
It is essential that you have a Level 3 AAT qualification or hold an accounts qualification at Level 3 or higher. English, Maths and ICT are required at a minimum of Level 2.

Please note an enhanced DBS will be required for this role. The successful candidate is required to meet the payment of this DBS check which is currently £40.
