This role is a development opportunity working closely with the Business Manager undertaking all aspects of the finance and wider business provision in a busy and service driven environment.
The working week will be 35 hours spread equally over the School week, term time only plus 10 days. This is equivalent to 40 working weeks of the year.
The Finance and Business Officer will work closely with the Business Manager and the Finance Team undertaking all aspects of providing whole school support within the Finance office, ensuring the smooth running of the office, is undertaken in a professional and efficient manner.
The main duties of the role include Finance, Payroll and Personnel, and the wider Business functions. The Job Description attached to this advert provides a full overview of the role.
The successful candidate will be required to liaise with students, parents / carers, staff, suppliers, government departments, Local Authority and, therefore, the ability to communicate to all levels is essential.
The ideal applicant will have good all-round financial skills gained through professional training and / or experience, the ability to prioritise their workload, meet deadlines and have the ability to build good working relationships with colleagues.
