FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER/ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT
Permanent, all year round position (full-time and part-time hours will be considered).
VTG10, SP30-33 starting salary £29,174 per annum (will be pro rata for part-time hours) plus Health Cash Plan and Benefit package (see website for full details of our employee benefit package).
Requirement to travel between Trust schools.

A vacancy has arisen for a Finance Business Partner/Assistant Management Accountant to work in our Trust Central Finance Department with a committed team of professionals.
Finance Business Partners are ‘school business experts’ who provide invaluable advice to academies and the Trust to maximise the use of resources in order to deliver positive educational outcomes.
The overall purpose of this role is to provide a business partnering approach, working with academy Principals, Senior Leadership, Administration Teams, Budget Holders and Local Governors to provide effective financial management. Finance Business Partners support effective decision making, bringing objectivity, constructive challenge and support to financial and business management. The role will also support academies to maintain effective levels of financial compliance.
The successful candidate will have:
- Maths GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent)
- English GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent)
- Relevant qualifications in finance; AAT Level 3 and working to completion of AAT, or Level 4 Certificate in School Business Management or Level 5 Diploma in School Business Management
- Previous experience of preparing, advising on and monitoring annual budgets
- Experience of working in a supervisory or advisory role
- Experience of working within a charity or public sector setting
- Ability to access different Trust sites. If driving between sites on the same working day, mileage can be reimbursed
