We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our supportive and talented central team within the Cabot Learning Federation. We are a diverse multi-academy trust, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning. We are aiming to procure and implement a new finance system during the next 12 months and there will be many projects for this role to be involved in, developing skill sets and experience.
This position will start from May 2021 and is a fixed term contract to cover a maternity leave.

This role would be ideal for those looking to continue their career in education/public sector or those in the private sector looking to diversify their experience in a public sector organisation. To be successful in the post, the Finance Manager will be responsible for preparing, supporting and delivering financial management across a number of CLF academies in conjunction with the Principal. You will also be an important addition to support a range of projects where we are reviewing our processes and systems.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be based centrally and also within your academies with a focus on budget setting, management accounts production and project work. You will provide professional capacity to the Finance Manager Team and support your academies in a varied and wide-ranging role, ensuring effective management and reporting.
