We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated school finance officer to maintain the high standards of our post holder who will be taking maternity leave immediately after the summer holiday. The role is part-time, 28 hours per week, and is term-time only plus INSET days.
The main requirements of the role are:
- Experience and competence in day to day finance tasks in a school environment, e.g. processing orders, reconciling bank statements, credit control.
- Experience and confidence in using all functions of SIMS FMS
- Reliability and a 'team player' approach to working at our school
- An understanding of and willingness to adhere to school safeguarding policies and procedures
In return, we offer flexible working hours by agreement, a private office in which to work, support and advice from an Ealing Bursarial officer if required, a friendly and supportive working environment. In addition, our school is in a conservation area close to Ealing Broadway and Park Royal transport links and adjacent to a beautiful park.
The postholder will be taking maternity leave from August 2021 but there will be an opportunity for a paid handover and any necessary training prior to the end of the summer term. The contract will be linked to the postholder's maternity leave and will, therefore, cease upon her return and after a handover. Appropriate notice will be given.
