We have an exciting vacancy for a First Aider to join Backwell School on a permanent basis. This role is term time only and working 25 hours a week Monday to Friday. You will work within our friendly and supportive Student Services Team, reporting into the Student Services Manager. You will be responsible for all aspects relating to First Aid within the school, including administering treatment when required to pupils, maintaining equipment and supplies throughout the school and arranging training when needed. You will also assist with administration tasks as part of the Student Services Team.
The successful candidate would be preferred to have the Level 3 First Aid Certificate and experience with managing health conditions such as diabetes would be beneficial. However, if they do not have the level 3 First Aid Certificate, Backwell are willing to help obtain this. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with a proactive, calm and positive manner is essential for this important position within the school.
