We are looking to appoint a friendly Forest School Assistant /
Midday Outdoor Leader Role. To join our outstanding Nursery & Infant school.
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Bramley C of E Infant and Nursery School. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to be Forest School Assistant / Midday Outdoor Leader. You will be joining our school team and will be working outdoors assisting the children with their learning during lunchtime and assisting in Forest School lessons.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, patient, have a knowledge and passion for the outdoors and nature, experience in working with children and a highly effective member of staff who is able to work from his or her own initiative.
Experience of working in a forest school/school setting is desirable but not essential. Appropriate training will be provided.
The attached job description and person specification outline the main aspects of the role. The applicants will be expected to demonstrate the qualities of a good role model and have good levels of spoken and written English.
Forest School Assistant / Midday Outdoor Leader.
PS3 £18,013- £18,957 Full Time Equivalent. Pro Rata Actual Salary £4,194 - £4,414.
Core working hours: Term time (38 weeks per year), Total 10 hours per week.
11.45am -1pm Monday – Friday, plus 3.45 Additional Forest School hours to be agreed across the week.
INSET days: Appropriate INSET days will be agreed in advance and paid for individually.
We are happy to consider combining this role with our currently advertised Financial Administrator role.
