We are looking for an enthusiastic Forest School Leader to join our committed Forest School team in our Nursery and School.
We require a qualified Level 3 Forest School Leader to join our friendly Forest School and Nursery team.
The Nursery caters for children between 2 and 4 years in an open plan nursery with purpose built outdoor area. Our popular Forest School is an important part of our Early Years provision and is set in its own site close to the Nursery. The school also has its own forest school site, accessed from the school field. To be considered for this position, you will need to hold a recognised Forest School Leader qualification and have experience working within a nursery setting, have a positive, hard working and "can do" attitude, have experience of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), are able to contribute to planning, observations and reports and possess a high level of written and spoken English. You will need to provide the children with a safe and secure environment, support the key-person system and liaise with parents/carers and senior staff, working as part of a highly motivated and professional team.
In addition, you will need to be flexible and creative, with the commitment to provide first class childcare. Term time only.
This role is to lead the forest school provision in both the nursery and the school. There will also be a requirement to work some hours as a nursery practitioner to support staffing requirements within the nursery. The hours are estimated to be 32.5 hours per week, working pattern to be confirmed.
