Foundation Lecturer – Level 1
(Part-time 0.4fte, Permanent)
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented, highly motivated and enthusiastic Level 1 Foundation Lecturer to join our Foundation Department working two days per week (Thursdays and Fridays). The role involves teaching young adults with learning and communication difficulties to access the curriculum as fully as possible in order that they are able participate in all aspects of College life and achieve their learning goals and potential. Responsibilities include course management, ongoing assessment, tracking of progress, and planning a diverse curriculum of learning are also essential elements of this role.
You should ideally have a relevant qualification and experience of teaching in a classroom setting is desirable. We are looking for an adaptable, resourceful excellent communicator, who will be able to work as part of a team and have strong IT skills.
