Salary: £27,116 – £33,309 (Spinal points 22 – 29)
Location: Carmarthen, Cardiff, Bangor, Aberystwyth
The Coleg Cymraeg is responsible for the implementation of the Action Plan to develop Welsh Medium and Bilingual provision across all Further Education Colleges and Apprenticeship Providers in Wales. With ambitious plans and increased resources the Coleg wishes to appoint competent, well-organised and creative individuals to play a leading role in developing projects relating to increasing Welsh-medium and bilingual provision. The projects will be linked to the different elements, such as learners, staffing, provision, resources, qualifications and employers.
You will play a key role in the development of the further education and apprenticeship sectors as part of the Coleg’s academic planning and wider Welsh Government led initiatives, aimed at increasing the numbers studying in Welsh and bilingually in the further education colleges and with apprenticeship providers. The post holder will also encourage and facilitate collaboration with and across the sector.
The successful candidate will have an understanding of the further education and apprenticeships sector and have experience of managing various projects.
This is a Welsh-medium post and the ability to work through the medium of Welsh is an essential requirement.
