GCSE Maths Lecturer – Maternity Cover
22.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
£16,624 to £22,689 per annum
(Pro rata £27,339.10 to £37,312.88 per annum)
Are you an experienced FE Lecturer in GCSE Maths and passionate about your subject area?
As the GCSE Maths lecturer your focus will be to deliver well planned, engaging and innovative lessons and ensure that learners have the knowledge and confidence to progress.
What will you be doing?
Supporting and developing every learner to ensure they are able to progress and achieve in their Maths studies through outstanding teaching
Motivating and inspiring students
Deliver interesting, innovative and inclusive learning and undertake assessments using a broad range of methods
Developing a personalising and holistic learning approach in all lessons
Guide/tutor learners through the learning process (action planning, reviews, progression)
Enhancing lessons using a variety of approaches including the using technology facilities available
The successful candidate will:
• Have experience teaching GCSE and Functional Skills Maths within the post-16 sector
• Hold a Level 4 teaching qualification or equivalent
• Hold a minimum Level 3 Maths qualification
• Have the ability to deliver the curriculum creatively with strong independent organisational skills
