GCSE Maths Lecturer – Sessional
Required from Sept 2021
£25.50 per hour** (£21.01 basic + £4.49 holiday pay)
£39.17 per hour** (£32.26 basic + £6.91 holiday pay)
** Pay is dependent on qualifications and experience
Are you passionate about your subject area? Do you have experience of teaching GCSE and functional skills maths to post-16 learners? If so, we would be very interested in hearing from you.
Due to a predicted rise in student numbers this September we are looking for an enthusiastic maths lecturer to join our team on a sessional basis to deliver innovative and inclusive teaching to post-16 learners. You will have the ability to inspire and motivate your students enhancing your lessons using a variety of approaches including technology. Your role will be to progress, support and develop every student through outstanding teaching and learning to achieve a successful outcome in their maths studies.
• Experience of teaching GCSE and Functional Skills maths within the post-16 sector
• Hold a teaching qualification (Level 4)
• Have a minimum level 3 maths qualification
• Ability to deliver the curriculum creatively with strong independent organisational skills

This is a sessional role and may include evening work.
