Salary: BG8 £22,627 - £24,491 (Actual £17,300 - £18,725)
Hours worked: 32.5 Hours (5 days) per week, TTO plus inset days
Contract: Fixed term to 31st July 2022 (possibility of extension on review)

We require an adaptable, experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated TA to provide support to individual pupils, small groups or whole classes, as well as supporting the class teacher.
What We Are Looking For
The candidate appointed should have excellent communication skills and be willing to work flexibly alongside a range of children and adults. The successful candidate will be a dedicated and positive team player who is resilient, reflective and committed at all times. They should be empathetic, good at listening and able to respond to unexpressed needs. A willingness to undertake further training, for example in the area of trauma informed practice is a must. Experience working with children with additional needs or vulnerabilities, and their families, would be beneficial.
Providing support for learning activities for children on an individual or group basis, under the general direction of the class teacher and line manager.
You should have:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Good organisational and time management skills;
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and others;
- Experience of working with vulnerable children or those with SEND;
- Ability to take responsibility and work with autonomy within set boundaries.
