Notre Dame School is an outstanding independent school in Cobham which is constantly growing and looking to improve. The School is set within 26 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds and gardens, surrounded by Surrey parkland. We are looking for a Groundskeeper to join us to work alongside our existing Estates team to maintain the grounds at Notre Dame School.
You will be an experienced groundskeeper who is able to proactively maintain and develop the school grounds, including gardens, hedges, borders, playgrounds, sports pitches and woodland areas to a high standard. The successful applicant will have a dedicated interest and enthusiasm for gardening with a sound knowledge of gardening techniques and methods.
The right candidate will have:
• 2 years’ experience of working in a similar role, preferably within a school environment.
• Experience in the use of a range of grounds machinery.
• Full, clean Driving Licence.
• Able to work well in a team and be responsive to advice and guidance.
• Good problem-solving skills and an ability to work under one’s own initiative to complete tasks.
