The Art department consistently achieves good examination results at both GCSE and `A’ level. The teachers are highly qualified, well-motivated and experienced. We are looking to appoint an experienced teacher who:
• has the vision to inspire and lead other staff
• is able to develop and enhance the teaching practice of others
• can monitor and support the overall progress and development of students
• will develop assessment for learning in the department, including student tracking
You will have a strong commitment to high standards of classroom practice. You will understand the importance of excellent teaching and learning, having a genuine regard for young people and high professional standards. The ability to work in a team is essential, sharing good practice and providing opportunities for students across the ability range.
